Supercell: Brawl Stars - SDCC 2025

Client: Supercell
Location: Barge Behind SD Convention Center
Duration: 3 Days
Type of Activation: Experiential

For its first U.S. activation, mobile game Brawl Stars - developed by Supercell - wanted to make a BIG splash during San Diego Comic-Con, July 24-27. My team produced a full fledged amusement park on a floating barge on San Diego Bay, inclusive of food, games, immersive experiences and more. In total, our activation welcomed more than 4,000 guests through the 45-minute immersive “world” that emulated the mobile game.

Guests were initially greeted by our “fun enforcers” (live actors) and given a brief breakdown of what to expect within Starr Park. From there they were guided to the “Starr Rail” which simulated monorail ride but ended up going through a 4D tour through the Brawl Stars animated world. This immersive kickoff to the Park entrance involved guests interacting with our conductor and even helping slow down this 4D tour through the use of buttons and pull brake cords.

Once the guests wrangled the Starr Rail, the doors opened to Starr Park - and guests were finally able to enjoy all it had to offer. This kicked off with the gem-grab game - guests collect gems and badge stickers by playing the various carnival games, each with a Brawl Stars twist - which were redeemable for various prizes at the prize station at the end of the experience.

The fun Brawl Star themed games included: Frank’s Hammer Drop at Haunted Haven, a dynamite plunger at Mike’s Mine, a ring toss at Frontier World and a spinning wheel and free grenade cupcakes at Piper’s Pie Shop. As part of the larger Comic-Con activation, Brawl Stars teamed up with MrBeast’s Feastables to distribute 20,000 limited-edition Brawl Bars, Feastables’ first-ever co-branded chocolate bars.

Check out the full immersive experience HERE.
